Ballyshannon Leisure Centre Extension
When we were asked to design an extension for the Leisure Centre, it would have been easy to just continue with the building finishes already being used on the Centre. These looked a little tired though so it was better to freshen the building up with different, contemporary finishes. The double- height zinc- clad feature window frames views towards the town centre from the studios within, while the curved stair and lift enclosure provides a nice contrast to the existing building while directing patrons towards the new building entrance.
