The roots of our practice go back to the 1950s, when MA Doherty set up business in Donegal Town. In the seventy-odd years since, the practice has evolved through name, location and personnel changes but at the core our business remains the same - we work at a local level, designing buildings that benefit local people.We don’t consider ourselves to have a particular style of work, because we focus on what we feel is right for each client and site. The common thread running through our work is a commitment to making people’s lives better through architecture - we want to use our imaginations and our technical abilities to create buildings that are sustainable, comfortable, light-filled and welcoming while being recognisably of this locality and region.
